We are open all year round

Enjoy a warm welcome, tea and cake on arrival and breakfast cooked to order at a time that suits you (from 8am onwards).


Our full English breakfasts (with a Norfolk twist) wherever possible use produce from our own garden as well as from the Walsingham estate and other local producers. Lighter options and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advanced notice.

As all dishes are freshly cooked for you, will will ask you for your breakfast choices the night before.


We're delighted that we have been acredited by the Slow Food Movement in recognition of our commitment to local suppliers and the environment.

In winter, enjoy breakfast by the cozy log burner and, in finer weather, on the patio beside the natural swimming pool which guests are welcome to use.


In addition, there is a lovely, airy open plan guest sitting room. Spend some quiet time with a book by the fire in winter or, in summer, open the French doors to bring the outside in.


Relax in our large, secluded garden and enjoy peace and tranquillity by the pool watching swallows swooping down to drink, dragonflies darting among the reeds or even hares boxing in the fields beyond.


Through the day, help yourself to coffee, tea and home-made baked goodies which are available at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. If you'd like to bring something to enjoy at "cocktail hour" we have a wine chiller, ice buckets and glasses available.


Although we love both children and dogs, we regret that the house is not suitable for either. The house and garden are also "no smoking" zones.
